Former President Donald Trump on Saturday linked new revelations about Hunter Biden’s business dealings to what he described as President Biden’s inaction on China’s efforts to establish a spy base in Cuba .
Trump spoke at the Faith & Freedom Coalition’s Road to Majority gala in Washington DC and reacted to recent claims by an IRS whistleblower that the agency obtained a WhatsApp message in 2017 from Hunter Biden to Henry Zhao , CEO of Harvest Fund Management, where Hunter said. he was with his father and named him to force Zhao to fulfill a promise.
“I’m sitting here with my father and we want to understand why the commitment that was made was not fulfilled. Tell the director that I want to solve this now before it’s gone, and now that means tonight” Biden wrote.
“And, Z, if I receive a call or text from anyone involved in this other than you, Zhang, or the chairman, I will make sure that between the person sitting next to me and every person he knows and my ability to be held forever. a hatred that you will regret not following my direction.”
HUNTER BIDEN-LINKED ACCOUNT RECEIVED $5 MILLION DAYS AFTER THREATENING MESSAGES: ‘SITTING HERE WITH MY FATHER’
“I’m sitting here waiting for the call with my father,” Biden said.
It was also revealed that an account linked to Hunter Biden received more than $5 million just a few days ago.

Trump took a swipe at Biden’s son on Saturday after recalling the text messages: “I didn’t know he was that tough!”
He then tied the revelations of what he said was Biden’s lack of action to reports that the Chinese regime was moving to establish a spy base in Cuba.
“In ten days, the Bidens got $5.1 million from China for nothing. They got $5.1 million. Actually, they got ten million dollars from China. And maybe that’s it, maybe he didn’t complain about the fact that they are building military bases in Cuba. Maybe that’s the reason,” he said.
Trump later described Biden as a “compromising president” and suggested that Biden’s policies were influenced by past business dealings.
“It’s actually 100 times bigger than Watergate. It’s a bigger story than Watergate. So Biden doesn’t think China opened these military installations,” he said. “He basically said, it’s okay. He didn’t do anything, whatever was said. He didn’t talk about it.”
The Biden administration downplayed a report that China and Cuba had reached a secret agreement for an eavesdropping facility to allow the Chinese to scoop up electronic communications, saying it was a ongoing issue that dominates the administration.

“This is an ongoing issue, and not a new development, and the arrangement described in the report is inconsistent with our understanding,” an administration official said.
The official said the administration was informed of a “number of sensitive efforts by the PRC around the world to expand logistics infrastructure, basing, and gathering overseas around the world to allow the PLA to project and maintain military power even further” in January 2021.

China is said to be considering several sites covering the Atlantic Ocean, Latin America, the Middle East, Central Asia, Africa, and the Indo-Pacific.
“This effort includes the presence of PRC intelligence gathering facilities in Cuba,” the official said. “In fact, the PRC conducted an upgrade of its intelligence collection facilities in Cuba in 2019. This is well documented in the intelligence record.”
Separately, Hunter Biden’s attorney attacked the IRS whistleblower’s revelations in a statement.
“Biased and politically-motivated, selective leaks have plagued this matter for years. They are not only irresponsible, they are illegal. It is dangerously misleading to make any conclusions or inferences based on this document, Clark said. “The DOJ’s investigation covers a period of turmoil and addiction for my client.”
His lawyer also said that “[a]My client’s verifiable words or actions in the midst of a terrible addiction are his alone and have no connection to anyone in his family.”
Biden this week sided with China when he referred to President Xi Jinping as a “dictator” while arguing that the leader was angry when a Chinese surveillance balloon was shot down by the US earlier this year.

“The reason why Xi Jinping was so angry in terms of when I shot that balloon with two box cars full of spy equipment that he didn’t know was there,” said president “It would be a great shame for the dictators if they didn’t know what was going on.”
Trump, in his speech on Saturday, said he would “drop the hammer” on China if they refuse to scrap the proposed base.
“There are tariffs unlike anything China has seen before,” he said.
