Amazon puts tens of thousands of items on sale during Amazon Prime Day every year, but finding a valuable needle in that haystack can be difficult. Fortunately, my colleagues and I have spent years combing through deals like this, especially tech stuff, and have a pretty good understanding of what’s worth it and what’s not.
This rolling list highlights some of the best ideas for Amazon Prime Day 2023, which runs July 11-12. The items are selected by our experts (I’ve been covering Prime Day since 2015, and have been reporting on tech and consumer products for 20-plus years), and we’ll keep this list updated during the event. . Note that some deals are limited time only, and may be gone by the time you check.
We are too previously rounded up the best early Prime Day dealssome of them started in late June and may still be available, and also offered a series of Prime Day tips and best practices for getting the best deal.
Also keep in mind that even as a Prime member, some of these deals require you to request an invitation, due to limited quantities (such as a Black Friday doorbuster).

Need to be an Amazon Prime member?
To get these Prime Day deals, yes – and that’s the main purpose of Prime Day, to get you sign up for a $140 annual subscription. A helpful hack, you can sign up for a 30-day free trial and cancel after that. just be careful, because it can be difficult to cancel if you are not careful.
Do other stores have Prime Day deals?
Yes and no. Since Amazon started Prime Day in 2015, competitors have held suspiciously similar sales on overlapping days. Target, Best Buy, Walmart and similar stores, online and in the real world, have their own special days with names like “Black Friday in July.” In 2023, Target holds Target Circle Week from July 9-15, and Walmart is holding Walmart Plus Week from July 10-13. It makes sense to comparison shop between these different stores to get the best price.
