All this Tedros (Abel Tesfaye) all the time in the latest episode of The Idol.
Unlike the first two episodes, viewers don’t get a break from Tedros’ annoying antics — and Tesfaye’s lackluster line delivery. The episode focuses on Jocelyn (Lily-Rose Depp) who falls under the influence of Tedros, so it includes many scary scenes with the pair.
How to use ice cubes during foreplay like ‘The Idol’
Here are the most WTF scenes from the third episode, “Daybreak,” from Tedros and Jocelyn’s trip to Valentino’s to the terrifying final montage.
Poor Leia
The episode begins with Tedros “taking” Jocelyn shopping. A more fitting description is Leia (Rachel Sennott) taking Tedros and Jocelyn shopping. Leia drives Jocelyn’s red convertible through the beautiful streets of LA and Tedros and Jocelyn hook up in the back seat of AROUND ride. Tedros teased Leia, “What’s wrong Leia? A little bumpy. You hit the breaks too hard, ruining the vibe in here.” The scene was, of course, soundtracked by none other than The Weeknd.
The Valentino showroom
Tedros and Jocelyn shop at Valentino and their entire visit is hilarious. Tedros tries to assert his dominance by threatening a Valentino shopkeeper. He whispered in her ear again and again, “Let me catch you looking at her again,” a warning that carried all the weight of a feather. Like most of the scenes in the The Idol, their trip to Valentino ended with Tedros and Jocelyn having sex in the dressing room. After Jocelyn, Tedros masturbates through a garment. Great stuff all around.

Dyanne is the new “World Class Sinner”
While Jocelyn caught up with Tedros, the label reshot the “World Class Sinner” music video starring Jocelyn’s friend and another Tedros follower, Dyanne (Jennie of Blackpink). Yes!
Car-tay blanch-ay
Another amazing Tedros moment shows him uttering carte blanche cart-ay blansh-ay. How is anyone at The Idol does the universe take this man seriously?!

Xander’s idea
Tedros wins over Xander (Troye Sivan), Jocelyn’s creative director, and asks for his ideas for Jocelyn going forward. Xander replied, “When was the last real fucking bad, bad pop girl?” Then he proposed that Jocelyn use the leaked photo of her with ejaculate on her face as the cover of her album. The brain power between these two men is unmatched.
The hairbrush
The final montage takes the cake for the most WTF scene of the episode.
After Tedros forces Jocelyn to reveal that her mother abused her with a hairbrush in front of random members of his posse, he tells her, “All trauma you have to turn into inspiration, tap into it, you can feel it, you. ‘re gonna face it, remember it. You’re gonna let it all wash off. You still got that hairbrush?” Jocelyn grabs the hairbrush and Tedros continues to abuse her like his mother did. his abuse is interspersed with clips of him kissing her.
