The famous memecoin Shiba Inu and its developments are one of the most interesting topics for cryptocurrency enthusiasts and investors.
However, these people should remember that the space is full of fraudsters who may use the logo of the coin or mention some developments to deceive the victims. Here is what individuals should be absolutely careful about.
Beware of NFTs Offering SHIB Rewards
The pseudonymous X (Twitter) user “Shib Informer” has issued a warning to Shiba Inu investors to beware of suspicious non-fungible tokens (NFTs) offering SHIB rewards, saying it’s just a scam .
If you receive a #NFT offering a #SHIB reward for connecting to a site, ignore it! This is a scam.

They added that those who follow the instructions and run the code posted by the bad actors will see their wallets drained.
Afterwards, “Shib Informer” SAYS some scammers make it look like prominent people like Elon Musk are involved in mysterious offerings. However, they advise that people should observe “minor details” and always “check twice” before engaging in such projects..
Previous Cautions SHIB Investors Should Consider
Shiba Inu developer Kaal Dharyiahas also alerted the community about malicious projects with the SHIB logo or the recently launched layer-2 scaling solution. He thinks that “unethical” offenders include the aforementioned symbols to generate personal profit.
Shibarium’s Marketing Strategist, named LUCIE (on X/Twitter), previously warned that scammers are pretending to be related to the L2 solution. One can learn more about the launch and details of Shibarium by watching our dedicated video on it.
