Property-casualty broker NFP has announced the appointment of Josh Jeter (pictured above) as senior vice president and aviation specialty practice leader as part of the firm’s Aviation Industry Group.
In his new role, Jeter will advise clients on aviation and aerospace exposures. He will report to Matthew Schott, managing director of management, cyber and professional liability at NFP.
“We are excited to welcome Josh to NFP and our aviation practice,” said Schott. “Given the current challenges in the aviation market, it is more important than ever to ensure that our clients have access to the expertise necessary to navigate the many exposures they face. Josh’s energetic approach to serving the clients and his understanding of various elements of the aviation market, including insurance carriers and brokerage, make him well suited to lead our aviation practice.
Prior to joining NFP, Jeter served as vice president of Gallagher’s aerospace practice area. He also served as an aviation underwriter specialist at Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty and as an assistant manager of aviation and reinsurance at Ironshore Insurance Services.
Jeter also served as a member of the Air National Guard, and has more than 16 years of experience in aircraft maintenance. He is currently enrolled in the air and space law graduate certificate program at the University of Mississippi School of Law.
“I am very excited to join NFP and use this opportunity to expand the company’s presence in the aviation and aerospace segment,” said Jeter. “NFP continues to grow and add specialized expertise across the P&C business. I am honored to be a part of this growth and support clients by providing risk management and transition strategies within this challenging market.
NFP also recently appointed Mike MacCrory as senior vice president of its energy and marine practice and Lauren Kim as managing director of its financial institution group.
