Lorena Calvo-Demmon recently joined Aon’s Reinsurance Solutions team as Senior Broker for Latin America, Property.
He joins the company after serving at Guy Carpenter for more than a decade. Calvo-Demmon most recently held the role of Vice President for the broker’s Facultative Reinsurance business for Latin America.
Prior to that, he served as Assistant Vice President for LatAm following his role as an Associate Reinsurance Broker, where he worked on the LAtAm team at GC Fac Property.
Prior to joining Guy Carpenter, he spent over a year at Zurich Insurance as an Underwriting Assistant. He also held positions at Beazley, Aspen Re and Gen Re.
Aon Reinsurance Solutions has also recently added several new senior hires to its Netherlands team.
Kareem Chin was appointed as Account Director, Lieve Decuypere as Senior Broker, and Jiske Rigter as Senior Actuary.
