If you have any remaining questions about the Pixel 8 Pro’s looks, Google is here to answer them. The company has put online a 360-degree simulator that allows you to turn the device back to front and top to bottom, with helpful indicators pointing out where the various sensors and ports are located. The simulator shows the phone in three colors and confirms that the Pixel 8 Pro will get a new temperature sensor on the back next to the cameras.
The simulator used to be Joseph Reuben saw and Promoted by Mishaal Rahmanwho both posted about it on X. Google doesn’t appear to have published a link to the website — but all you have to do is plug the name of the new phone into Google’s URL. OTHERS Pixel simulators, and the new phone will appear. It’s believed to have been online early, and someone spotted it while poking around.
The simulator does not include specific specifications, so there is more room for Pixel leaks in the coming months. And the simulator for the standard Pixel 8 does not yet appear online.
Google’s mockups show the Pixel 8 Pro retaining a SIM card slot. The phone is shown in three colors: a pale blue, a sandy “porcelain,” and black. There don’t appear to be any major changes to the home screen software — the mockups all feature Google’s favorite color matching widgets and the traditional “at a glance” widget.
