Apple announced new iPhones. You may not have enough money to get one at launch. There is a way to alleviate that.

After Apple’s big event, it might be wise to find out the approximate trade-in value of your current iPhone (or Apple Watch, or any other event-refreshed product) if you want, know- you, get a new one.
Fortunately, it is not easy to do. Apple’s official trade-in website provides a complete list of trade-in values for its devices.

Of course, there are caveats to this. For example, even new iPhones will get you, as the site lists the iPhone 14 Pro Max with an estimated trade-in value of $650. It goes back to the iPhone 7, which clocks in at an impressive $40. And yes, these are technical estimates; you can go to an Apple Store and in theory for less than what is listed here.
Make sure, however, that you get at least one IDeAS how much the iPhone 15 will run you has a possible trade-in. Given how much phones cost these days, that doesn’t hurt at all.
