Everest Insurance, the insurance division of the Everest Group, has launched a dedicated US Wholesale and Programs Division to serve the distinct and evolving needs of this market.
According to the announcement, the Division consists of specialized wholesale parts, underwriters, and distribution teams, including Everest Underwriting Partners, the company’s program business.
Everest Group is a global underwriting leader providing best-in-class property, casualty, and specialty reinsurance and insurance solutions.
Mike Mulray, President of North America Insurance, will lead the business on an interim basis while the carrier appoints a permanent lead.
Commenting on the announcement, Mulray said: “This dedicated offer reflects Everest’s decades of experience and exceptional support for our wholesale partners.
“We further strengthen our commitment by bringing our customers and distribution partners customized capabilities and greater access to the full breadth of our products and services, along with the culture which is the customer first they expect from Everest.”
Mulray was recently appointed Executive Vice President and President of North America Insurance. He previously served as Global Chief Operating Officer for Everest Insurance, having first joined the company in 2015 as Chief Underwriting Officer.
