Chubb, the largest publicly traded property casualty insurance company, announced the appointment of Adam Mason (pictured above) as executive vice president of casualty for Overseas General Insurance, its general insurance operations. of the company.
Mason currently serves as deputy head of casualty for Overseas General Insurance. In his new role, he will be responsible for the growth and profitability of the company’s casualty lines in 51 countries and territories outside of North America.
Mason has more than 30 years of experience in the insurance industry. Prior to serving as deputy head of casualty for Overseas General Insurance, he served as chief underwriting officer for casualty. Mason joined Chubb (then named ACE) in 2002, and has worked in the UK and Ireland for the multinational retail and international wholesale casualty underwriting teams. Mason joined the company’s casualty business in 2011. Prior to joining Chubb, Mason served as an assistant underwriter at Independent Insurance and a casualty underwriter at CNA.
Mason will continue to report to Mark Homan, who was recently promoted to division president, international property and casualty, for Overseas General Insurance. Both appointments are effective June 1, Chubb said.

We are delighted to welcome this experienced leader and manager to this important role.”
