Despite his outstanding success at the college level, GonzagaDrew Timme didn’t hear his name called during Thursday night’s NBA draft. It didn’t take long for him to find a professional hoops home, however.
Early Friday morning, Shams Charania reported that Timme signed the Bucks. As an undrafted free agent, there are certainly no guarantees for the three-time All-American, but Milwaukee makes for an intriguing landing spot for him if he is able to carve out one. role in the team.
Timme has a lot of work to do, but will find himself playing alongside the likes of Giannis Antetokounmpo, Khris Middleton and Brook Lopez in the frontcourt. Basketball fans who loved watching Timme lead Gonzaga in previous seasons are excited for his opportunity.

Timme’s athleticism was a question mark entering the pros, but as he showed at Gonzaga, he’s a very skilled post player and a proven winner.
If nothing else, he has plenty of Bulldogs fans and other college odds rooting for him as he tries to break into Milwaukee’s roster.
