AXA XL, a leading global insurance and reinsurance firm, has announced the appointment of Anthony Dagostino as Global Chief Cyber Underwriting Officer for Commercial Lines.
Dagostino, a seasoned professional with over 20 years of experience in the cyber insurance industry, will be based in New York and report directly to Libby Benet, Chief Underwriting Officer of AXA XL.
As cyber threats continue to pose significant risks to businesses around the world, AXA XL has taken strategic steps to address these concerns.

Dagostino joins AXA XL from Converge, a cyber insurance and risk management provider he founded. His broad expertise positions him well to lead AXA XL’s efforts in cyber underwriting and risk management.
Dagostino will lead a team spanning the whole of AXA, with responsibilities that include developing product and service offerings for transferring cyber risk to commercial clients, setting clear risk appetite and internationally standardized cyber underwriting principles, managing the management of risk aggregation, assisting in the recruitment and growth of cyber expertise, and creating preventive measures and recovery services for AXA clients.
