Allianz Holdings has announced that Steve Treloar, CEO of Allianz Personal, and Fernley Dyson, chief financial officer, have resigned from their respective roles to pursue new opportunities.
Treloar first joined LV= as Managing Director in May 2016. Prior to this, he served as managing director of Personal Lines at Aviva and held a number of other senior roles at Aviva and RBS Insurance.
He became CEO of LV= General Insurance in December 2017 and successfully led the joint venture with Allianz, until full ownership by Allianz – including the acquisition of the Legal & General General Insurance business at the end of 2019.
In 2021, Treloar was appointed CEO, Allianz Personal, which saw the Allianz UK personal brands all come together under one operating entity.
Allianz confirmed that Treloar will remain with the company until 30 June 2023, as the process of appointing a successor is now underway.
Meanwhile, Fernley Dyson, chief financial officer for Allianz UK, has also decided to step down and his last day will be May 30.
Dyson joined Allianz UK in January 2019 having been CFO of Ageas and held a number of senior roles at Aviva prior to this.
Allianz announced that he will be replaced by Ulf Lange, currently head of the business division for Global Lines and Anglo Markets, Allianz SE, who will join the business as chief financial officer on 30th May.
Lange joined Allianz in 2008 and has contributed significantly to the Allianz Group during his time with the company. Prior to his recent positions at Global Lines and Anglo Markets, he was also CFO of Allianz Partners.
Commenting on the changes, Colm Holmes, CEO of Allianz Holdings, said, “In a period of decisive change and exciting changes, Steve will play a key role in the success of our business .
“I would like to thank him for his significant contribution which has earned us recognition as one of the UK’s leading personal lines insurers.
