We have that strange liminal deals space between holiday holidays. It is not SOMEWHAT early enough for Memorial Day deals, but most Mother’s Day discounts have come and gone. That doesn’t stop us from scouring the web for the best discounts we can find. You probably don’t want to buy a new mattress or grill now, because prices should be better by the end of the month. But if you’re looking for a smartphone, TV, or some fancy cookware, we’ve got you covered.

Discover Samsung Deals
The Discover Samsung sales event runs until May 21. New deals go live every day, and while the deals in the bigger sale are a bit hit-and-miss, it’s still worth checking out if you’re in the market for one Samsung device. We’ve highlighted our favorites below.
Samsung’s Galaxy S23 (9/10, WIRED Recommends) lineup is the best flagship phone series in our guide to the best Android phones. The Ultra normally costs $1,200. Now, there’s a free storage upgrade, meaning the 512-GB version costs the same as the 256-GB model. You also get a $50 Samsung credit. Finally, Samsung is offering up to $750 when you trade in an eligible device. This is a great deal if you want to upgrade your device. The discount is more than any other we have seen.
As with the deal above, there’s a decent, small discount on this phone outright, but you can save even more if you trade in a device. The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 (8/10, Recommended by WIRED) is a relatively fine and durable folding phone, but we don’t like the high price. This deal makes it even more achievable. The same deal is available for the Flip 4 if you want that style.
This is our favorite TV for bright rooms. The best deals are on the 75- and 85-inch models. The Samsung QN90B (8/10, WIRED Recommends) has a Mini LED display that offers good contrast, and the 120-Hz refresh rate supports the latest gaming consoles.
Deals on Fitness and Outdoors
WIRED editor Adrienne So has tested many, many fitness trackers. The Garmin Instinct 2 Solar (9/10, WIRED Recommended) is his favorite. It has a good balance of health features, such as accurate GPS tracking, and modern convenience features, such as music controls. The battery recharges through sunlight—Adrienne’s battery lasted three weeks on a single charge. Different colors and styles are icing on the cake.
The Apple Watch Ultra (8/10, WIRED Recommends) is a behemoth of a gadget, but it’s still a great Apple Watch and fitness tracker. Its rugged housing and improved outdoor capabilities may make it a better choice for serious athletes than other Apple Watches. This deal only applies to the Yellow Ocean band color. If yellow isn’t your thing, you can check out our Best Apple Watch Accessories Guide for some strap recommendations.
Deals on Everything else
Lego artificial flower kits are on my TikTok feed. This price is the lowest we have seen for the succulent set. The orchid version sells for the same price on Amazon and Walmart. Added bonus: These bouquets won’t wilt.
It sold so well we gave it its own story. If you don’t mind some packaging damage or a small cosmetic flaw, you can save up to 50 percent on the best pots and pans. You must enter your email address to view the deals. Find our favorites here.
This table regularly sells for at least $100. I haven’t tried it, but I’ve tried similar versions from other companies, and they’re the same. This table is wrapped in a small roll when not in use. Simply unfold the stakes, place them in the frame, and you’ll have a flat surface to place a plate, cup, or bottle of sunscreen on. It even has built-in cup holders. I really like these tables for making friendship bracelets.
